COMPLETION OF DE MONTPENSIER AMSTELVEEN

NEOO’s commercial team visited the Charlotte van Montpensierlaan in Amstelveen, where the transformation of a vacant office building into a stylish apartment complex—named De Montpensier—was recently completed.

This exceptional project, developed in collaboration with RJB Group and Van Egmond Architecten, comprises 18 high-quality rental apartments. Of these, 50% fall within the mid-rent segment and 50% in the private rental sector, all while preserving the green and landscaped character of the Elsrijk neighborhood.

With the building now completed, the first residents are preparing to move into their new homes in early April. A wonderful milestone and the result of close cooperation among all parties involved.

INSPIRING GATHERING DURING OBJECT ROTTERDAM

On Thursday, February 13, NEOO organized a gathering for a large group of architects and urban planners at AIR Offices Rotterdam. The afternoon began with a meeting in the rooftop bar, followed by a visit to the VIP opening of the OBJECT Rotterdam exhibition, and concluded with a networking reception in the atrium.

OBJECT Rotterdam, open to the public from Friday, February 14, to Sunday, February 16, is being held this year in the Paris-proof office spaces of AIR Offices. OBJECT is a leading design fair where contemporary design and architecture come together—an inspiring setting for a successful afternoon and evening!

AIR is the multifunctional transformation of the former V&D building and includes 26,000 m² of office space, 10,000 m² of commercial space, hospitality venues, and a public bicycle parking facility.

The transformation of Kronenburg Shopping Center into a future-proof Full Service Center is taking shape!
On Wednesday, February 5, C&A opened its latest store concept on a 1,600 m² retail space. This opening marks another step in the transformation and renovation of Kronenburg. The new C&A features a striking façade and is located at the newly developed Eat&Meet square, where shopping, dining, socializing, and relaxing take center stage.

C&A is the first of several new shops and dining establishments set to open at the new square in the coming period. Together with Wereldhave and all our partners, we are creating a dynamic mix that will make Kronenburg a vibrant and future-oriented shopping destination. We congratulate C&A and Wereldhave on this fantastic new store!

KBF WAREHOUSE WINS PROPERTY GREEN DEAL AND LEASE AWARD

During the PropertyNL Forecast & Awards 2025 on Thursday, January 23, the KBF Warehouse project, part of the historic Kauwgomballenfabriek, was honored with the Green Deal and Lease Award for the most remarkable sustainable investment in commercial real estate. Additionally, NEOO’s AIR Offices Rotterdam project was nominated for the Workspace Award—a fantastic recognition of the diverse and sustainable projects we contribute to.

Developed in collaboration with Timeless Investments and Tristan Capital Partners, KBF Warehouse stands out for its sustainable character and iconic architecture. The transformation, designed by NEXT architects, has resulted in a unique and recognizable building featuring historic brickwork, transparent facades, and a modern aesthetic.

In the Elsrijk neighborhood of Amstelveen, NEOO, together with RJB Group and Van Egmond Architecten, is transforming an old office building into a modern apartment complex featuring 18 rental apartments. This transformation preserves the natural character of the surrounding area, with a focus on sustainability and high-quality architecture.

The completion date is approaching rapidly: by the end of February, contractor De Geus Bouw will finalize the apartments. This marks an important step in enhancing the quality of life in this beautiful neighborhood and addressing the housing shortage.

We congratulate our partner Wereldhave on the opening of The Game Box in the renovated Vier Meren! This addition offers visitors a unique experience with the latest arcade games, for young and old.

The opening marks an important step in the transformation of Vier Meren into a future-proof Full Service Center. It provides additional reasons to visit the center of Hoofddorp while simultaneously creating a more compact retail core.

START OF CONSTRUCTION OF AMSTEL VISTA AND LONDON TOWER

With the signing of the construction agreement by the clients Amstel Vista and RJB Group, and the construction consortium J.P. van Eesteren | TBI and Dura Vermeer, the construction of Amstel Vista / London Tower has officially begun!

This urban redevelopment along the Amstel River includes a mix of high-quality offices and residential units. The development will feature 203 rental apartments, of which 30% are social housing, 30% mid-range rental, and 40% in the private sector. In addition, an underground parking garage will be built with 187 parking spaces, and the ground floor will provide space for commercial functions.

The project is designed by an international team of architects: SOM Architecten, MVSA Architects, and Dam & Partners Architecten. The shared “Japanese” rooftop garden is designed by landscape architects MADMA urbanism+landscape.

This development contributes to the residential and workplace needs in Amsterdam and creates buildings that will be an iconic addition to the city’s skyline.

OPENING NEW ENTRANCE SHOPPING CENTER KRONENBURG ARNHEM

Friday, November 1, 2024, the new main entrance to Kronenburg shopping center was festively opened! With its transparent and inviting facades, this entrance sets an impressive new calling card for the center. This delivery by Retail Bouw Nederland forms an important part of phase 1 of the redevelopment, in which NEOO acts as delegated developer on behalf of Wereldhave.

Within this phase, the shopping center will be thoroughly preserved and there will be a spacious Eat&Meet catering plaza surrounded by new stores including Jumbo, Aldi, C&A and La Place. This central plaza will become a lively meeting place for visitors to store, eat and relax.

HAWAIIAN POKÉ BOWL HIRES IN AIR ROTTERDAM

NEOO welcomes Hawaiian Poké Bowl as a new tenant in AIR. The restaurant will be prominently located in the building at the corner of Westewagenstraat and Hoogstraat. With a retail space of 200 m², Hawaiian will open its 50th location here—a milestone for the originally Belgian chain. The location is expected to open its doors in December, offering visitors a healthy and quick dining alternative in the heart of the city.
